Andrew Oliver, UX/UI Designer

From a young age, I have had a profound passion for creation, whether through drawing, designing logos, or building with Legos and K’nex. Upon entering college, I initially pursued a degree in Architecture. However, I later transferred to a new institution and changed my major to Game Design. This transition revitalized my enthusiasm and confirmed that I had found my true calling.

While I still appreciate architecture, game design has opened up a vast realm of creativity, allowing my imagination to explore the limitless possibilities within video games. As I progressed through my studies, I consistently volunteered as the artist for group projects. Initially, I took on various artistic roles, but through exploration, I discovered a strong passion for designing user interfaces, including menus, HUDs, and buttons.

As I honed my skills, I realized that specializing in UX/UI was essential for me. I find great satisfaction in solving problems and acting as a bridge between game designers’ intentions and players’ needs. After earning my degree in Game Design, I further pursued my interest in UX/UI by obtaining a certification in the field.

Today, I work as a UX/UI contractor, continuously learning and adapting to the latest design trends.
